Chicken Wire only works if sharing food doesn't mean giving up your privacy. Here's plainly what we keep and who can see it.
Your name, email, phone number, an approximate home location, and anything you choose to put in your profile or listings — photos, descriptions, pickup areas, and messages.
Your display name, avatar, bio, neighborhood, verification badges, rating, completed trade count, and your active listings. Your phone number, email, and exact location are never shown.
We store an approximate point for your neighborhood and offset listing pins so they show a general area, not a doorstep. Precise meetup details are only shared in chat, by you, once you've agreed to a trade.
We use it once to verify you're a real person, and afterwards only for account security. It is never displayed to other users and never sold.
Conversations are private between participants. We only look at message content when someone files a report, to investigate it.
You can update your neighborhood, edit or delete your listings, block another neighbor, or ask us to delete your account and data at any time.
